This season, we’re breaking ground to build the future of the American Theater. From forging new pathways for working-class artists, to reimagining how theater gets funded, this year is all about creating a sustainable theater ecosystem. At Working Theater, we believe there is an overwhelming need to return the arts to the working class, and to stake the claim that world-class art starts with working people. Together we can work towards a theater made by us, built for us, which represents us. Season 41 is an act of creative resistance to the current models of theater production.
