2020 Virtual Annual Awards Ceremony

Thanks to all of you, who donated, lent your talents and bid on auction items. It takes a village and we are over the moon to report that we not only met, but exceeded our goal! The event raised a total of $46,503! 

Working Theater’s 2020 Annual Awards Ceremony honored 32BJ SEIU President KYLE BRAGG for bridging the gap between arts, labor, and community. The one-hour event included musical performances from Working Theater Alum, a silent auction, tributes giving voice to essential workers in New York and much more.

The event raised money to benefit Working Theater, enabling the company to keep providing vital, relevant, and accessible theater now and into the future. A portion of the proceeds from the benefit will go directly to The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation— educating, motivating, organizing and mobilizing Black communities to encourage full participation in a barrier-free democratic process.
